AI Engineer (consulting)
Searching Pi is looking for an AI Engineer who is passionate about turning AI into real business impact.
What you would do
As an AI Engineer, you help clients unlock value from AI by building intelligent solutions that automate and optimize business processes — from proof of concept to production-grade software.
On projects, you will:
- Stay up to date with evolving AI technologies and share knowledge within the team
- Translate business challenges into AI and machine learning solutions
- Design and develop POCs as well as end-to-end AI-powered applications
- Build, train and evaluate machine learning and generative AI models
- Work on use cases such as business process automation, optimization and AI copilots
- Integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows
- Design and implement MLOps pipelines, covering the full CI/CD lifecycle:
- data and model versioning
- automated training and testing
- deployment, monitoring and retraining
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, software engineers and client stakeholders
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and maintainable in production
Who we are looking for
You are an applied AI engineer who enjoys building real-world solutions that create measurable impact.
You have:
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning or applied data science
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with ML and AI frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Experience with generative AI and LLM-based solutions is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with MLOps and CI/CD (e.g. MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native ML services)
- Experience deploying models into production environments
You also:
- Take a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to AI
- Are comfortable working in a consulting context with evolving requirements
- Are fluent in Dutch (required)
- Have a good knowledge of English
- Are based in Belgium and open to a hybrid working model
